This a rare crystal believed to have been formed over a billion years ago, and has a very rare blend of up to 23 different minerals contained within it, the main composition of the stone however being amethyst. It is relatively newly discovered and has become one of the fastest selling minerals of the 21st Century.

It comes solely from small mines in the Boreal forest of Canada and its name is a tribute to the beautiful aurora borealis, or Northern Lights, which dance across the sky above the mines during the winter and the 23 minerals it can contain within its composition.
