Black Lava stones are formed when volcanoes erupt, much like obsidian stones and once this molten hot liquid cools and dries, it becomes a lava stone. Because of these processes, lava stone is considered to be a stone of rebirth, as well as a stone of tranquility and calm, making it ideal for times of stress or new beginnings.
