Orpiment Generator Point

A sold as seen stunning highly polished, Orpiment Generator Point. Orpiment is an arsenic sulfide mineral that crystallizes in the form of masses, botryoidal, and small prismatic shards (extremely rare). Its colour is bright yellow to pale yellow, and it forms from the decay of a mineral called Realgar, near volcanic steam holes or natural hot springs. This beautiful point shows off the colours of the red realgar and yellow orpiment beautifully.

Although it's perfectly safe to handle this tower, we do recommend washing your hands after handling it due to the arsenic content. Orpiment is also photosensitive so should not be placed in direct sunlight.
